For 2,000 years the Antichrist has eluded exposure. Speculation suggests he'll come as a politician, Pope, Nazi, or charismatic leader etc.. However, the bible does not present him as a single, futuristic individual of the last days at all.  "Young children, ... just as you have heard that the Anti Christ is coming, even now there have come to be many antichrists; "they went out from among us, they were not of our sort". 1Jo.2:18  "They went out from among us...". What emotions would stumble some of Jesus' original disciples to "return to the things behind"? "If you have bitter jealously and contentiousness in your hearts, do not be lying and bragging against the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is the earthly, animalistic, demonic". Ja3:13 So the antichrist has been among us for 2,000 years. "For many deceivers have gone forth into the world, persons not confessing Christ as coming in the flesh, this is the deceiver, the antichrist". 2Jo.2:7 The antichrist is not an individual but a composite mentality, of resistance to the moral excellence of Christ.

     The master mind of the antichhrist isn't human, but supernatural. A most effective way to slander someone's character is to impersonate  them by disguise, and commit crimes for which they will be falsely accused. "If someone comes and preaches a "Jesus" other than the one we preached, or you accept a "spirit" other than the one you received...... for such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ, and no wonder for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an Angle of Light, it is nothing great if HIS ministers also keep transforming themselves into ministers of righteousness, but their end will be according to their WORKS. 2COR.11:4-15   

    Jesus foretold the appearance of counterfeit "Christianity" impersonating His disciples; "Not every one  saying to me "Lord Lord....", will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, only the one doing the will of my Father will..... then I will say to them get away from me you workers of lawlessness" Mt.7:21-23  Counterfeit "Christianity" is notorious for violating the first commandment; Do not put other Gods before me, do not make graven images of anything (meaning national ensigns especially), do not bow down to them. Ex.20. Counterfeit "Christianity's" betrayal of Christ, and the surrendering of church to state, has falsely implicated the innocent name of Christ in horrific violence, subverting faith, as Satan the Antichrist intends.

     Speaking of Jehovah's kingdom to come, Apostle Paul said "Let no one seduce you in any manner because it will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness gets revealed, the son of destruction. He is set in opposition and lifts himself up over everyone who is called "god" or an object of reverence so that he sits down in the temple of The God, publicly showing himself to be a god.... But the lawless ones presence is according to the operation of Satan with every .... unrighteous deception for those who are perishing as a retribution because they did not accept the love of the truth... in order that they all may be judged... because they took pleasure in unrighteousness. 2Thes.2:3-12  Paul was foretelling how Satan would promote a hierarchy of clergymen to market  "worship God your OWN way" religions, instead of "with spirit and truth" Jo.4:24. This strategy has been so successful, some clergymen live in grand cathedrals in "shameless luxury" exhaling themselves as "objects of reverence". This amount of wealth often requires compromises between church and state, blessing wars for kings, in exchange for tax free profits, and persecuting genuine Christians who remain loyal to God. This duel feature of the antichrist is depicted as a harlot in the Revelation. "For because of the wine of the anger of her fornication all the nations have fallen victim, and the kings of the earth committed fornication with her, and the traveling merchants of the earth became rich due to the power of her shameless luxury". Rv 18:3,4. However, divine justice is coming upon "Babylon the great", the harlot. "Get out of her my people.... her sins have massed together clear up to heaven... render to her twice the number of things she did ..... and she will be completely burned with fire because Jehovah God who judged her is strong". Rv.18:4-8.
